Moovy Groovy Cards

Next month's class is all about cards that move!

I love a little bit of interaction in a card. It just adds that extra 'wow' factor, that "cool! how did she do that" effect we're all looking for.

We will be making a pop-out card, a pinwheel card, a 3-D stand-up card and best of all a chocolate bar pull-out card. And yes, it includes the chocolate! In fact, we have bets going on how many posters will still have chocolate bars in them by next month!

Almost as fun as the card designs is the stamp set we'll be using. I've been dying to use these stamps since I first saw them at CHA (trade show) a few years ago. Now they have them in clear stamp sets, which in my opinion is even better!

These Kids Quotes (Inkadinkado, Friendly Advice) are just too funny and make me smile.

And since we only have one more month of summer, I knew I had to use these sweet, sherbet colors while I could.

Class schedule is as follows:

Wed. July 29th South Jordan 10-noon
Wed. July 29th Orem 6-8pm

Tues. Aug. 4th Sandy 10-noon
Tues. Aug. 4th Provo 6-8pm
Wed. Aug. 5th Jordan Landing 6-8pm
Thurs. Aug. 6th American Fork 6-8pm
Fri. Aug. 7th Centerville 2-4pm
Fri. Aug. 7th Clinton 6-8pm

Please bring the following to class:

Trimmer & scissors (fine tipped & Long)
Adhesive (Variety: Roll tape, pop-up squares, glue dots, dotto etc...)
Bone Folder, Exacto Knife & Self Healing mat
Pencil, Ruler and push-pin
1/8" hole punch and micro hole punch (1/16")
Threader (dental floss for braces, available in pharmacy)
Tapesty needle (size 24)
Brown Ink (versafine VIntage Sepia or similar)
Stamps: Inkadinkado's Friendly Advice #99181) and matching acrylic block
Crystal Glitter (doodlebug Lily White or Similar)
Glitter glue (like Ranger's Ice stickles)

1/2" hole punch (we'll have some in class)
Paper Crimper (we'll have some in class)

Lastly, I want to thank my Canadian friends Heather and Karen for inspiring me with their movable cards. You are amazing and I can't wait to get some paper play time with you soon.

Oh My Gosh, these cards are DARLING!!! I hope I can make it to your class. My sister is coming to town, so we just need to figure out what to do with her kidlets so we can both come. You never cease to amaze me, Sue! Ü Monica

Where is your class taught in Clinton? Where could I buy most of the supplies needed for the class. I have a few basic things, but not most of them.

Please let me know. I'd like to learn how to make those cards! They are so cute!
