Happy New Decade!

Wow...2010! I've always been a big science fiction fan and can't help thinking that I'm living in the future! But wait! Where are the hover cars, robot maids and dinner magically appearing in a slot on my wall? Guess I still have to clean my house and cook my dinners by my little 'ole self for a little while longer.

I'm really hoping NONE of my faithful readers have visited my blog since my last post in early December. That would mean you've had as restful, relaxing and playful a holiday as me!

Here is a pathetic photo collage of what I've been doing over the past few weeks. And yes, I'm including this truly horrible picture of me, but it so encapsulates my days. Note the sweat pants, hot chocolate on the table, phone (catching up with family & friends), remote in hand (lots of oldies & goodies), hanging out, puzzles and games (our newest one: Pandemic. Players gang up on the board and try to rid the world of virulent diseases...now doesn't that sound cheery? LOL).

I've included a picture of some martinellis because this was me playing around with one of my Christmas presents, a new spiffy flash for my camera. Look forward to BETTER photos on the blog and on tv!

What you don't see here is my daughter healing from some minor surgery (right before Christmas!) and me in the kitchen...for days. Prior to Christmas, I cooked up a storm! My husband was right besides me helping out and creating his own masterpieces. My time to relax really starts after Christmas dinner is cleaned up. And it's been glorious...

But part of what I love about the New Year is just getting back to work! I'm so excited about this new year! I have a wedding to plan, some bathroom renovations to do and of course, designing and planning some exciting new classes and Studio 5 segments. I'm back in the design saddle today and I come to it fresh from all my resting.

Hope you can join me this week for my Birthday Calendar Album...more information is just below this post. What a great way to start the year; Get Creative & Organized all in one class! Any questions? Just shoot me an
email.

Love that you included making a puzzle, I so do NOT have the patience for that...I leave that up to my sister and her family:)
I also LOVE SciFi and wonder, you do say twenty-ten? or two thousand ten?
I like the twenty-ten myself:)
Looking forward to the class in SJ this week!!!

It's not a horrible picture of you! Your hair looks cute! :o) We've missed you, but glad that you've been relaxing . . . you deserve it! Now get back to work! (giggling) I wish we lived closer, to go to your classes!
