I designed this card many years ago for Card Fashion, an issue where each project was inspired by clothes and fashion. That was such a fun issue to work on. It really got the creative juices flowing and this card is a perfect example of that.
I don't think I would have come up with this cool card template otherwise, and interestingly enough, I haven't used it again. I think I kind of forgot about it. So many cards, not enough time!
I've been holding onto this Sweet 16 card for years. I forgot to give it to Emma when she turned 16. I suppose I could have held onto it for Savannah, because, unbelievably, she will be 16 in two years!
But I remembered it when I got Hailey's Sweet 16 request and knew it was meant for her. I want to take a moment and thank all of you who shared your talent and time with Hailey by sending her a card.
Hailey's mom posted some pictures on her blog and plans to scan some of the cards onto it as well, so stay tuned if you want to see them. As you can see by Hailey's smile, we helped make her day!

Awesome...what a wonderful birthday memory for her, and what a nice thing for complete strangers to do. I'm sure she loved all her cards:)
