Q's Creative Class: Birthday Wishes Cards & Book

I know it's cliche, but for me, January is all about getting focused and organized.

I'm hibernating anyway, so I might as well do something constructive, right?

It's also been a while since I've designed a birthday card class and I've gotten many requests... so here we go!

Fun shapes & colors... five cards; one with a pocket & insert and one with a sentiment on the inside.

The Birthday book is a great way to stay on top of birthdays you want to remember, as well as one large pocket (to store cards) and a smaller pocket for envelopes and stamps.  This is a sturdy 11 1/2" x 7 1/2" book with a chipboard spine and a Velcro closing.

You can buy both or just cards.  The whole project makes a lovely gift!

Class schedule is below or have them mailed to you.  All my kits include a photo step-by-step slideshow making it very easy to put together.  You can upload the slideshow to your phone or tablet for portability.

Kits will begin shipping January 3rd.  Please add shipping costs from the drop-down menu.

What you'll need:

Adhesives: Your favorite tape to put cards together, foam squares and glue dots (mini & medium), 1/8" wonder tape (or other brand) and 1/4" Crafty Foam Tape (by Scrapbook Adhesives).  I also like to use Dotto brand adhesive for some of the delicate die-cut piece, but you could use a glue pen as well.

Tools: 12" trimmer. Bone folder for scoring.  Scissors (long & fine-tipped), micro hole punch and paper piercer. Circle punch (1 3/4" or 2") and (1" - 1 1/4" size).

Misc: Distress "Frayed Burlap" (or any light brown or sand colored) Ink pad & Sponge.  Craft Mat (to work on), lid (to keep small pieces in), pencil.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
