It's a simple, beautiful thing.

It's a simple thing, really.  A gift. Cut some flowers, put them in a jar and wrap a ribbon around it.

It seems cliche, but it's the thought...It's the THOUGHT that really amazes me.  Amazes me and makes my insides get all warm and fuzzy.

Camilla Kimball said "never suppress a generous thought".  It's one of my favorite quotes and words I try to live by.

So let me just take a moment to say THANK YOU

Thanks to all my students.  You are much more to me than the word, student infers.  Not because of anything I've done, but because of who you are.  You constantly buoy me up with your kindness, smiles, hugs and encouragement.

How is it even possible to have taught thousands of people in my two and a half years with Q's Creative Classes and not have one negative experience.  Not one.

Maybe it has something to do with the nature of card making.  That generally if you're a card maker, you're also a card giver.  And if you're a card giver you THINK about other people.  That makes you SPECIAL!

And yes, I'm thinking about you!

  1. I SO agree...card-makers and crafters in general are the most AMAZING people. They share all their secrets (the creative kind:) and are such FUN to be around! Plus when you have such creative teachers...what can I say!
    Everyone...pat on the back:)
