And then something proves that I'm not. I thought I would pre-write a couple of blog posts before my trip so I could post them in St. Paul.
Problem is (and maybe you expert bloggers out there can help me) they posted in the order I created them...so they're not showing up on top.

I had that problem too. I figured out that if you write them early, then when you want to post them, go into Edit your post, HTML, then COPY the whole post. Then compose a new post and PASTE the whole post there and it will bring it up on the current date. Probably an easier way. Then you should go back and delete your old post. Hope this helps and isn't too confusing.
