In 2006 Paper Crafts Magazine created a special day just for card making; it was called National Card Making Day...but based on the response we got and the world-wide popularity of card making, we changed it to World Card Making day. Today, in our fourth year, World Card Making Day is celebrated by hobbyists, retailers and manufacturers "to unite and celebrate the connection and creativity that is the heart of card making".
World Card Making Day is always celebrated on the first Saturday in October, for this year, that means Saturday, October 3rd!
