This was originally a poem by Longfellow, written during the Civil War and not long after his wife had been killed and his son grievously wounded, plus their house had burned. He's in despair, but knows peace and good wlll to men will come. Those bells keep ringing. This version by Casting Crowns is very moving. Love the children's choir.
