My favorite way to use my scraps is to paper piece, just like quilters do. Choose your canvas (in this case a gift bag) and start piecing together your scraps. Have fun with textures, patterns and colors. To top it off, stitch the edges for a homespun look.
Here I've used small squares of paper to punch out flowers, layer and pop!
In our home, making Turkey Noodle soup is as much tradition as the actual Thanksgiving dinner. It's such a nice thing to have around over the weekend for a light dinner or quick lunch.

Two of my favorite recipes to make with leftover turkey is Turkey Tetrazzini
and my family's favorite Turkey Enchiladas. Enjoy!
Your guesses for my Sneak Peek contest were really close, so many of you guessed most of what I was doing, but three people caught on to the 'leftover' theme for both the Turkey and the paper; Sadie, Syrant and KWgirl. So I did a random draw and the winner is KW girl! Congrats! You have won the cute patchwork gift bag I showed on Studio 5 and some extra paper crafting goodies!
Also, I'm just a tad bit late posting my Give Thanks Card winner...here they are!
Please email me your addresses so I can ship your goodies off to you!
