Studio 5 Fabulous Left-over ideas

At this time of the year and especially in this economy, we're all looking for ways to save money. In today's Studio 5 segment I've shown you 10 creative ideas on using your paper scraps and also 3 delicious recipes to use with your leftover Thanksgiving Turkey.

My favorite way to use my scraps is to paper piece, just like quilters do. Choose your canvas (in this case a gift bag) and start piecing together your scraps. Have fun with textures, patterns and colors. To top it off, stitch the edges for a homespun look.

Here I've used small squares of paper to punch out flowers, layer and pop!

In our home, making Turkey Noodle soup is as much tradition as the actual Thanksgiving dinner. It's such a nice thing to have around over the weekend for a light dinner or quick lunch.

Two of my favorite recipes to make with leftover turkey is Turkey Tetrazzini
and my family's favorite Turkey Enchiladas. Enjoy!
Your guesses for my Sneak Peek contest were really close, so many of you guessed most of what I was doing, but three people caught on to the 'leftover' theme for both the Turkey and the paper; Sadie, Syrant and KWgirl. So I did a random draw and the winner is KW girl! Congrats! You have won the cute patchwork gift bag I showed on Studio 5 and some extra paper crafting goodies!

Also, I'm just a tad bit late posting my Give Thanks Card winner...here they are!

Please email me your addresses so I can ship your goodies off to you!

I emailed my address to you,(for Thanksgiving card winner) but since I messed it up last time and you didn't get it, I will be at the South Jordan class and bringing it there will be fine if you didn't get my address or even if you did. Does that make sense? Looking forward to the class!

Don't know if I'm the Cheryl who is one of the winners or not. I've tried to send an e-mail, but keep getting an error message. I'll be at one of your December Clinton class so if I'm a winner, you can bring it there.

Thanks - Really hope I'm the Cheryl!

Hi Sue
Its Sadie,
I guess maybe I won something, and if I did you can just bring it to the Clinton Roberts for card class in Dec. I will be there.
