After 13 years of teaching monthly classes (first at Roberts Crafts, then Hobby Lobbys up & down the Wasatch front in Utah), I've retired... to something even better!
What's better than a 2-3 hour card making class? A 24 hour one! :) Well, we will be sleeping for part of the time, I hope! But yes, the future for Q's Creative Card Classes will be retreats held 2-3 times a year here in Salt Lake City.
The retreat starts at 6pm on February 28th and ends before 5:30pm the next day, Feb. 29th at the Salt Lake Marriott Courtyard Convention center.I'll be teaching Bouquet Bliss Cards on Friday night, from 6-9ish. SO pretty! Delicate bouquets strewn on lovely sentiments and soft shades of spring.
For those who are staying overnight (me, me!) will continue the party as long as we can keep our eyelids open, crafting evening away, playing, socializing, munching and having fun.
Saturday morning we'll wake up bright-eyed and bushy tailed, just in time for my Simply Springtime Cards from 9 - noon.We will have a delicious catered lunch, some free time, make & take, shopping etc... before starting our last class of the retreat, Happy Day Card Keeper & Cards!
This is a bright & cheery way to end our retreat. Class starts at 1:30pm and goes until 4:30pm-ish. This is a BIG kit! The best part is this clever fold top card keeper (just fold & adhere) and SEVEN cards for every reason. This kit includes envelopes as well.
We'll end out retreat with an optional card swap! You'll leave with a happy collection of cards to take you all the way through summer, as well as creative swirlies in your head, friendships, fun and did I forget to mention a swag bag and prizes?
Simple supply list will also be emailed to you.
A few of you have mentioned that due to work and health issues you can only attend part of the retreat. There are limited spots for individual classes, but you can add them individually in the drop-down menu. These will be card classes only (no swag or prizes, sorry).
And yes, for ladies outside of Utah, all 3 kits will be released in the next few months for mail order. Stay tuned!
Hotel rooms (double occupancy) are $130 + taxes for one of my blocked rooms. Add the $50 deposit from the drop-down menu.
